Houttuynia Cordata
Also called Chinese pepper or heartleaf, houttuynia cordata is a plant widely used in Korean cosmetics. Rich in flavonoids, it soothes and calms irritations thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The presence of polysaccharides also makes it a formidable humectant that will hydrate the superficial layers of the skin. Some studies also give it powerful anti-allergic effects that can be useful in the treatment of skin conditions such as eczema (atopic dermatitis).
Jojoba
Derived from the seeds of the tree of the same name, jojoba has a chemical composition close to that of the sebum on the surface of our skin.
In oil form, its fine texture forms a protective film and prevents insensible water loss and therefore dehydration.
Rich in fatty acids, it nourishes the skin and will delight dry skin.
